Meet the Team


Jeanne Paquette
Publisher

Jeanne Shorey Paquette has over 20 years experience in Human Resources specializing in Training and Management Development. Currently Jeanne is Publisher of The Employment Times, HR Times and MyJobWave.com. Prior to starting The Employment Times in 1999, Jeanne held the position of Vice President, Human Resources at Androscoggin Bank based in Lewiston, Maine. In 1993 Jeanne moved back to Maine from San Diego and was hired as Director of Human Resources, at Creative Work Systems, a non-profit serving people with disabilities. She is a member of the Maine State Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Governor Appointed Maine Jobs Council and serves on several non profit boards.

Jeanne earned an Associate of Science degree in Early Childhood Ed. from Dean College, Franklin, Mass. and Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from Kean University, Union, New Jersey



Heather Banester Bassett
Marketing/PR Director

Heather Banester Bassett is currently the Marketing & Advertising Director for HRTimes and the Marketing/Public Relations Director for The Employment Times and MyJobWave.com. Heather coordinates the marketing and advertising efforts for HRTimes Magazine as well as the exhibitor/sponsorship efforts for the Maine HR Convention and the Maine Workers’ Compensation Summit. She has served two terms as the Secretary for Central Maine Human Resource Association, is a member of other human resource associations within Maine, including the national Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).

Heather has over ten years recruitment experience both in higher education and the private business sector. In 2001 she received a Certificate of Achievement through the Androscoggin Leadership Development Institute. She currently holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Allied Health and Medical as well as a Minor in Anthropology & Sociology from Johnson State College in Johnson, Vermont.

Heather’s leisure activities include snowboarding, running with her Boarder Collie, snowshoeing, hiking, and mountain biking.



Tim Sardano
Production Manager

Tim Sardano is the production manager for Employment Times LLC, publishers of Employment Times, Maine Job Expos, MyJobWave.com, and the HRTimes magazines in Maine, Delaware and Maryland.

Tim holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications/Journalism with a concentration in public relations and marketing from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY. Tim held a public relations internship with the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Rochester and a copy writing internship with the Portland Radio Group, and was a freelance writer for the Times Record in Brunswick, Maine before joining Employment Times LLC in 2002, where he now manages the graphics department, handles editorial for all products, and liaises on various projects with vendors, customers, the public and staff.

Tim is an avid sports fan, likes to read and enjoys any type of medium that tells a good stor. He currently coaches men’s rugby for Bates College in Lewiston, Maine.

 

Kaitlin Gallagher
Production/Graphics Assistant

Kaitlin has been with Employment Times LLC since 2007. A Jill-of-all-trades, Kaitlin wears many hats - from designing ads and pagination of Employment Times, to updating both MyJobWave.com and HRTimesOnline.com. She powers our Social Media campaign including the WeeklyWave and HRWave e-newsletters. You will find Kaitlin doing much of the Admin work for the company. She is also our resident photographer.

Kaitlin has a BA from University of Maine Orono in Sociology with a concentration in Crime, Law and Deviance. She is also a part-time Graphic Arts student at Central Maine Community College.

As a product of an artistic home, Kaitlin enjoys creating “recycled” art wears. When not at work, in class or crafting, Kaitlin spends her time with her trusty sidekick, KC, her Akita.



Michelle Edwards
Graphic Designer

Michelle grew up in Maine and attended the Maine College of Art, where she received her undergraduate degree. She participated in two internships while in school and graduated with honors. Her artistic endeavors include screen-printing, photography, illustration, painting and web design. She is a member of the American Institute for Graphic Arts. Michelle enjoys developing and implementing a consistent, professional look for the HRTimes brand. She designs ads and articles for HRTimes magazine and also built the HRTimes Web site.

Outside of design, Michelle enjoys related interests, such as sketching, typography, and cake decorating. Michelle is an avid equestrian, often attending natural horsemanship clinics on the weekends.
